Waterford, CT The Jordan Millpond Dam, located at the head of tide for Jordan Cove and Jordan Brook, once blocked the upstream passage of fish. The CT CWRP helped fund a project to provide passage to these fish through construction of a fishway at the dam. The new fish ladder will open up one mile of river habitat above the dam to migrating alewife and blueback herring.
